Here is the inside after coating. I didn't go all the way to the top because it will be behind the dash.
This is the bigest pain of doing different colors on both sides of the metal. I used tape on other parts and it still did it, but differently.
Setting the windshield frame on the engine and the fenders over the tires gave me a little extra room to move and coat the pieces with Durabak.
Here is with the tape, it still seeped out under it and made a lovely grey splotch. I have an extra quart of coating to go fix all of these little problems.
Here I only went to the firewall braces instead of covering the whole firewall. When I swap my engine in I'll cover the whole of it without any of the components on it.
I was going to get rid of this vent hole. Instead I'm making a new piece coated with black to make it stand out more.
Here is the door jam before coating with black. You can see in other pics that it looks good after the black is installed.

This piece is now painted flat black. At some point when I've got the money I'll get it powder coated.

When I removed the original turn signal housing, one of them was rusted so bad that it was destroyed when removing. I picked these up at AutoZone where I work. (discount helps a lot)
I also removed the crome ring around the skirt light. Now the only crome on it will be the two Toyota Land Cruiser emblems.
Here is a better look at how the black seaped out under the tape.
here is the old headlight housing painted black.
Here is the front grill and before everyone e-mails me I know the grill is on upside down :)
